Hey Jenkins Families,

We're on a mission to level up our school community, and we need your help to make it happen! 🚀

Your School Needs You! 🌟

Our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is looking for dedicated parents like you to step into key leadership roles as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. These roles are high impact but designed to fit into your busy schedule, making it easy to juggle with work and family commitments. 💼👩‍💼

-President

• Monitor progress of committees and solicit reports 

•  Be involved in all PTO functions and activities.

•  Be the liaison between the PTO and the Administrative staff at the school.

• Responsible for any mass (e)mailings done by the PTO.

• Keep a calendar of events for the PTO.

-Vice President

•  Act in an advisory and assistive capacity to the President.

•  In the absence of the President shall conduct the presidential duties.

•  Prepare and distribute the agenda for PTO meetings.

-Treasurer

•  Pay all bills and issue checks for reimbursement

• Make bank deposits and reconcile bank statements 

• Prepare financial reports and budgets.

• Maintain tax documents and non‐profit and tax‐exempt status are followed.

• Be a signature authority on bank account.

-Secretary

•  Record meeting minutes

•  Create and maintain a master email list of PTO contacts 

•    Book keep a current log of accounts and passwords

• Aide in paper and digital communications

• Boost School Programs: With more parent involvement, we can do so much more for our school, from funding new programs to organizing engaging events.

• Strengthen Community Bonds: Being part of the PTO isn't just about tasks—it's about building connections with other parents and staff members who share your passion for our school's success.

• Make a Difference: Your ideas and energy can shape the future of our school and create lasting memories for our children.

Please note: Per District Policy. Those employed by Spring ISD cannot be nominated for PTO executive board with the exception of Vice President and Secretary.
