Please be advised that there will be no regular classes for students from Monday, Feb. 16, through Friday, Feb. 20 in observance of the Mid-Winter Break holiday, Although students will be out of school, there are a few important exceptions.
Intervention Days
On Tuesday, Feb. 17 and Wednesday, Feb. 18, the district is also hosting Intervention Days focused on strengthening academic skills and providing targeted support. Families of eligible students have already been notified by their campus, and we strongly encourage attendance so students can benefit from this extra support.
However, these Intervention Days are open to all students. If you would like your student to receive extra academic support, our campuses will be open during the break and ready to welcome every student. Regular school hours, transportation and meals will operate as normal on those two days. For more information, please reach out to your student’s campus.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
In addition, Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, Feb. 19, providing an important opportunity for families to connect with teachers about student progress. Parents are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher for scheduling details.
Staff Professional Development Day
Friday, Feb. 20 will serve as a Professional Development Day for staff as we continue investing in high-quality instruction and student outcomes. District offices will remain open during the week.
Classes will resume on Monday, Feb. 23.
While the schedule looks a little different next week, each part is intentional — and we appreciate our families and staff for partnering with us to keep students supported, connected and moving forward.
Have a safe and enjoyable Mid-Winter Break Holiday!

This month marks our first ever Black History Month Spotlight. Do you know who it is? Hint: This educator is right here on our campus! The last name has six letters...any guesses? Stay tuned for the special person!

✨ February is Black History Month! ✨
This month, we celebrate the achievements, stories, and contributions of Black individuals who have shaped history, culture, and our world. Let’s honor their legacy, learn from their journeys, and be inspired to make a difference every day! 💛🖤💚❤️

This month, we’re celebrating Red Ribbon Week — a time to encourage our students to make safe, healthy, and positive choices! ❤️
Each day, we’ll focus on respecting ourselves, staying drug-free, and showing school spirit through fun dress-up days and meaningful conversations.
Parents, you can join in by talking with your child about what it means to make good choices and take care of their mind and body. Together, we’re helping our students grow strong, confident, and ready to shine! 🌟
