October is Dyslexia Awareness Month! Spring ISD recognizes the strengths, talents and potential of students with dyslexia and the dedicated educators and families who support them every day.
Throughout October, we’re raising awareness, promoting understanding and celebrating the unique ways our students learn and succeed.
¡Octubre es el Mes de Concientización sobre la Dislexia! Spring ISD reconoce las fortalezas, los talentos y el potencial de los estudiantes con dislexia, así como a los dedicados educadores y familias que los apoyan cada día.
Durante todo octubre, creamos conciencia, promovemos la comprensión y celebramos las distintas maneras en que nuestros estudiantes aprenden y alcanzan el éxito.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Together with communities across the nation, we’re raising awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection and regular screenings. This month, we honor those who have been affected by breast cancer, celebrate survivors and stand in support of individuals and families throughout their journey.
Octubre es el Mes de Concientización sobre el Cáncer de Mama. Junto con comunidades de todo el país, creamos conciencia sobre el cáncer de mama y la importancia de la detección temprana y los exámenes de detección periódicos. Este mes, honramos a quienes han sido afectados por el cáncer de mama, celebramos a los sobrevivientes y expresamos nuestro apoyo a las personas y familias a lo largo de su proceso.
Kindness matters. Respect matters. Every student matters. During National Bullying Prevention Month, we’re reminding our school community that everyone has a role in creating safe, welcoming spaces where students feel respected, supported and valued. Speak up. Include others. Choose kindness. Together, we can help make a difference.

In celebration of National Book Month, we’re highlighting the joy of reading and the many ways books can spark curiosity, inspire creativity and introduce us to new ideas and perspectives. Whether it’s a favorite classic or a brand-new adventure, October is the perfect time to turn the page and discover something new!

Making school attendance a daily priority.
Helping your child arrive at school on time and ready to learn.
Scheduling appointments outside of the school day whenever possible.
Communicating with the school when your child must be absent.
Together, we can help every student make the most of every learning opportunity.
